Our favorite beach is North Beach at Fort DeSoto Park. It is a little over an hour to get there, and we have been several times. It is a great place to swim, walk, paddleboard or kayak, fish, ride a bike (concrete path), bird watch and see the sunset. Or you could choose to do nothing at all but sit on the beautiful beach and read. I wrote about the park in a previous post, but I thought I would add a photo gallery here of some of the photos I have taken there throughout the winter.
