With another visitor due, I decided to use the front twin bed option in the Alto camper…..except I could not figure out how to do it! I knew the front dinette area was supposed to convert to a bed, but I tried different arrangements of the wooden backed cushions and nothing worked. Finally, I  got some direcions from the helpful  Alto owners on the FB page, Altoistas. And here’s the deal, for you fellow F1743 owners who might also be stumped when you go to do this: the table itself is the support. The pedestal come off from the top and bottom, then the table top lies into grooves, becoming a stable platform, then you put the cushions on top of that. Easy, once you know.
